I qualified as a podiatrist in 1999 after working in outdoor sport retail since school. I worked in London for 4 years initially and was the lead podiatrist for the musculoskeletal service. I then relocated to Sheffield to work in private practice. This move has given me the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary clinics which has improved my knowledge considerably of using other treatments. My specialist areas of treatment are helping you to move better and with less pain. I use a combination of manual therapy, orthoses, footwear, functional rehabilitation and showing you how to move to help you overcome your injury and move forward. I also run running workshops on how to run more efficiently for everyone. I run biomechanics assessment and assessing runners workshops for podiatrists. I am now fortunate to live and work in the Peak District and love this area. If you visit my Instagram page (@colpod) you will see I love my early morning walks with Pip my cocker spaniel and family walks exploring the area. I enjoy hosting running workshops to show people the joy of trail running and to show off this fantastic National Park.
